ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.9 of 2022, dated 07.10.2022 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 506(i) IPC within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.9 of 2022. He would further submit that investigation is almost completed and that they are going to file a final report shortly. Hence, he seeks one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.9 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
