ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Theni to expedite the trial in C.C.No.189 of 2020 and dispose the case within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Theni has submitted a report dated 03.02.2023 stating that eight witnesses have already been examined and the case stands posted on 07.02.2023 for examination of L.W.9/ investigation officer.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that L.W.9 was also examined on 2/4

07.02.2023 and the case stands posted for the proceedings under Section 313(1)(b) Cr.P.C.

4. Recording the submission, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Theni is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.189 of 2020 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
