ORDER
This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.16 of 2011, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tuticorin, in so far as the petitioners are concerned. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.Mr.S.Subbiah, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the filing of the complaint in M.C.No.16 of 2011, the dispute between the husband and wife was resolved by mutual concerned divorce, granted by the learned Principal District Judge, Thoothukudi, in D.O.P.No.286 of 2014, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
20.03.2015 and in the joint divorce petition, the first respondent has agreed to withdraw the present complaint in M.C.No.16 of 2011, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tuticorin. The learned counsel for the petitoner has also produced the copy of the order passed in D.O.P.No.286 of 2014, dated 20.03.2015. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent has not disputed the above facts.
5. In view of the settlement between the parties, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the entire proceedings in M.C.No.16 of 2011, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tuticorin, is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
