Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, to expedite the trial in S.T.C.Nos.1176 and 1177 of 2019 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, to expedite the trial in S.T.C.Nos.1176 and 1177 of 2019. 1/4

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that there are four witnesses; that L.W.1 has already been examined in chief; and that now the case is at the stage of cross examination of L.W.1.

3. Since there are four witnesses and the case has been pending from 2019, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, shall conclude the trial in S.T.C.Nos.1176 and 1177 of 2019, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
