ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent herein to conduct an enquiry and provide Patta to the petitioner in respect of S.Nos.5/5, 5/6, 16/5, 6/2, 10/8A, 10/8B, 10/7, 10/6A, 10/6B, 3/5B, 10/8C, 10/9, 10/11, 10/10C, 10/10B, 10/10A and 5/1, situated at Rettaiyoorani Village, Villadivagai Group, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within the time period to be stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
3. Today, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that Patta has already been issued
in favour of the petitioner and, therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
4. Recording the above submission, and in view of the fact that Patta has already been issued in favour of the petitioner, the cause of action in the Writ Petition no longer survives. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
