O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 1st respondent to conduct a proper investigation in Crime No.20 of 2019 and to file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the victim in this case and based on a complaint given by one Paramanantham, F.I.R in Crime No.20 of 2019 has been registered for the offence under Sections 417 and 420 of IPC read with Section 15(3) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in this case is still pending. They will complete the investigation and file the final report within two months.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and also recording the above said submission of the respondent police, this Court directs the 1st respondent to complete the investigation and file the final Page No. 2 of 4

report within a period of two months from the date of this Order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
