However, the relief of dispensing with the personal appearance of the petitioners can be given. The Trial Magistrate shall call upon the petitioners to be present only when their appearance is absolutely necessary and imperative. On all other occasions, the petitioners can as well be represented by the counsel. Granting the relief of dispensing with the personal appearance of the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is needless to add that all the defences, available to the petitioners are left open. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
