Respondents PRAYER :- This Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide suitable protection to fix the pipe line in the Governemnt land to bring the water from S.No.648 to S.NO.649/6 respectively situated at Kedayarumbu Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District on the strength of the third respondent's order in Na.Ka.No.5481/2024/Aa1 dated 18.07.2025 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This petitin is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to fix the pipe line in the Governemnt land as permitted by the third respondent in his communication dated 18.07.2025.

2. The Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there was some objection by the villagers for laying pipe line; that the villagers have challenged the order of the third respondent before the Revenue Divisional Officer and the same is pending; and that both the parties were called for enquiry and they had agreed to await decision of the Revenue Divisional Officer.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and the same is closed. 17.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No CM 2/4
