2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

3. The name of the 1st respondent has been printed in the cause list.

4. Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the petition may be allowed by waiving the interest for the default period of 3352 days. 2/4

5. Considering the submissions made by both sides, and being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The petitioner is not entitled to interest for the default period of 3352 days.
