The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for the enjoyment of his properties and to permit him to carry out agricultural activities in his land. 2.According to the petitioner, certain villagers have been preventing him from entering into the property.

3.This Court is of the view that a dispute regarding possession cannot be decided by the respondent police. Consequently, there cannot be any direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation. It is needless to say that the petitioner is always at liberty to approach the civil Court.

4.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
