ORDER

The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 19.07.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.16266 of 2024.

2. This Court passed order in W.P.(MD).No.16266 of 2024 dated 19.04.2024, wherein, this Court directed the authorities to conclude the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner within a period of eight weeks and thereafter, disburse the retirement benefits after deducting the amount already give to the petitioner, if any. In compliance of the orders of this Court, the second respondent in the writ petition has passed an order on 09.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner was dismissed from service. Therefore, the question of releasing terminal benefits in favour of the writ petitioner do not arise. However, the petitioner would be entitle to receive the Provident Fund Amount and Earned Leave Salary.

3. Recording the same, this contempt petition stands closed. Further, the respondents are directed to disburse the eligible Provident Fund Amount and Earned Leave Salary to the petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
