ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application, dated 04.07.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The properties in Survey No.240/11 to an extent of 1 acre 40 cents, S.No.241/5 to an extent of 19 cents, S.No.241/7 to an extent of 39 cents originally belonged to the petitioner's father. Through SLR patta, the petitioner's father purchased another property in Survey No.240/10 to an extent of 27 cents, vide sale deed dated 05.09.1950. After the demise of the petitioner's father, the petitioner acquired all the properties and was enjoying the same peacefully.

While so, since the patta was transferred in favor of the fifth respondent erroneously, the petitioner submitted an application to the third respondent to cancel the patta issued in favour of the third respondent in patta No.236 and to issue patta in the petitioner's name. As the petitioner's application was kept pending with the respondents, the petitioner sent a representation dated 02.12.2024. Even thereafter, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3.Since the application filed by the petitioner is kept pending from July 2024, I am inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 04.07.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
