ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to award compensation due to the death of the petitioner's husband Mr.Jeyaganesan Perumal in a road accident met at the Country of Saudi Arabia in furtherance of proceedings of the respondents 4 and 5 initiated in File No.RIY/CW/436/390/2016 dated 29.05.2022 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent 6 to 8 and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation to the respondents seeking for compensation for the death of her husband in a road accident at Saudi Arabia, pursuant to the proceedings initiated by the respondents 4 and 5 dated 29.05.2022. However, since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court. 3/6
4. The learned Special Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that on considering the representation of the petitioner, necessary orders would be passed by the respondents 4 and 5.
5. Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the claim made by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
