O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 25.09.2023 having CSR No.831 of 2023 issued by the 2nd respondent and Cyber crime reporting acknowledgement number 22909230056121 issued by the 1st respondent and to remove the Facebook account of 2nd petitioner namely Jobin JJ within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The facts in brief: Some unknown persons hacked the second petitioner's Facebook account, posted objectionable and obscene posts in that account, for which, the first petitioner made a complaint before the respondents Police to remove the said account in Facebook.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the first petitioner, C.S.R No.831 of 2023 has been registered and enquiry is still pending. 2/4

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), let the above said complaint be enquired by summoning the petitioners as well as the counter parties and dispose the same within a period of fifteen days from the date of appearance of the parties.

5. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 27.11.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No INDU 3/4
