This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the petitioner's two Page No. 1 of 4
wheeler bearing Registration No.TN-65-AR-6041, within the stipulated time to be fixed by this Court, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2023.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents submitted that the first respondent has already initiated confiscation proceedings against the petitioner.
3. Considering the above said submission, I direct the first respondent to complete the proceedings within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also at liberty to move suitable application for return of vehicle before the concerned learned Judicial Magistrate.
