This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.455 of 2024 from the 2nd respondent police to some other Inspector of Police in Theni District.

The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondent police submitted that after completing the investigation, the Final Report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam by way of e-filing in No.LTN20220001792C202600006 on 04.01.2026. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
