ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Application, dated 03.08.2024, vide No.2024/0103/13/325905, seeking rectification of name in the patta vide no.22 in respect of the petitioner's property in Survey No.281/5A at Kombaipatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the petitioner's application, dated 03.08.2024, was rejected by the respondent on 03.08.2024, itself and, therefore, the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, coupled with the fact that the petitioner's application was rejected as early as on 03.08.2024, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition, which is, accordingly, dismissed. No costs.
