Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue a legal heir certificate to the petitioner consist the names of 1.Manithai i.e., the petitioner herein 2.her brother Murugan and 3.her sister Mariammal in respect of her deceased mother namely Maruthathal and her deceased father namely Arunachalam on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2023. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the first respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner on the demise of her father and mother.

2.On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submits that if the petitioner is applying through online along with all necessary documents, she will be issued a legal heir certificate in the manner known to law.

3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to apply for legal heir certificate through online along with all necessary documents and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
