ORDER

The petitioner herein has filed this criminal original petition for quashing the private complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.

2.The petitioner's counsel is not in a position to inform the status of the case and therefore, this Court called for a report from the concerned Court. It is seen from the report that C.C.No.66 of 2012 itself has been dismissed due to the absence of the complainant. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. However, it is open to the petitioner to revive the proceedings, if the complaint instituted by the complainant is restored to file.

3.With this observation and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
