By asserting that the petitioner is the owner of the property in survey Nos.122/2A and 122/5 of an extent of 12.30 ares, the petitioner applied for a patta by online application dated 07.06.2025. Because the said application was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a minor error was committed in the application by referring to the survey number as 122/2A2 instead of 122/2A.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request for patta in respect 2/4

of the property in survey Nos.122/2A and 122/5, Ayyur Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and any other persons interested in the said property. No costs.
