PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed, seeking direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. The petitioners are husband and wife. They are managing the agricultural land, belongs to one Subbaiah Goundar and they engaged in agricultural works. They made a complaint before the respondent Police, stating that they are in possession of the property, which is under dispute. The rival party is claiming right over the property and is making trouble to the petitioners to vacate the premises.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the second petitioner namely Vanchikodi, enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.288 of 2023.

4. Since it is a civil dispute between the parties, the above said complaint shall be closed, advising the parties to workout their remedy through appropriate civil process.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
