Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned land. According to the petitioner, patta continues to reflect the name of his grandfather. The petitioner submitted an application in this regard to the fourth respondent.

3. The fourth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. Interested parties shall be put on notice before passing any order.
