ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petition mentioned property stood in the name of one Kannan. He passed away on 24.08.2020 leaving behind his wife / Jeyamuthu, daughters (Kayalvizhi and Gayathiri) and son (Vetri Seeman). Patta also stood in the name of Kannan only. "A" register also reflected his name. Since Kannan had passed away leaving behind four legal heirs, the remaining three legal heirs executed release deed dated 19.06.2025 in favour of the writ petitioner. The same was presented for registration. The registering authority did not accept the document for registration. In this background, this writ petition came to be filed. 3.I permitted the petitioner to appear before the registering authority. The petitioner accordingly appeared and presented the 2/4

document. The document is now with the registering authority. But the registering authority is declining to take a definite stand. Having perused the materials on record, I am satisfied that the executants of the document are well within the rights to execute the document in question. The registering authority need not go into the issue of title. The document in question shall be registered and released subject to fulfilment of other usual formalities. The writ petition is allowed. No costs.
