The petitioners herein are the accused nos. 3 and 4 in Crime No.105 of 2012 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai. They filed this application to call for the records pertaining to the above said crime number and to quash the same.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate( Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the case pertaining to Crime No. 105 of 2012, final report has been filed on 18.05.2017,in which, the Investigation Officer closed the investigation as Further Action Dropped. Hence, the prayer sought for in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
