ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the investigation from the second respondent to an officer not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy or any other agency and the same to be monitored by the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioners' complaint dated 17.03.2022 is pending for enquiry, since they were not able to serve the summons on the proposed accused.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to conduct and complete the enquiry within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
