ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the impugned charge memo issued by the respondent, the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Chennai in his proceedings Na.Ka.No. 69669/2023/B1, dated 25.08.2023.

2. Heard Mr.G.Kasinathadurai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is represented that the disciplinary proceedings have been initiated by after appointing an enquiry officer and the enquiry has been almost completed. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that so far, no order has been passed.

4. Since the enquiry has already been completed, there is a every likelihood for the respondent to pass an order after receipt of the enquiry report of the enquiry officer.

5. In view of the same, the respondent shall call for the enquiry report from the enquiry officer to be submitted within a period of four weeks and thereafter, the respondent shall pass appropriate orders depending upon the out come of the enquiry, if notice to the petitioner is essential and then, pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
