ORDER

This writ petition came to be filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to take the suitable action based on the petitioner's unnumbered 1/4

complaint dated 09.09.2024 pending before them within a period of stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that no such representation/complaint has been sofar received by the respondent.

5. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to make an application under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, by registered post with due acknowledgement forthwith. On receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date receipt of the application. 2/4

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
