ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the R.L.T.O.P.No.151 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned I Additional District Munsif, Madurai within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the revision petitioner, the petitioner is the owner of the premises bearing Plot No.700, 9th North Cross Street, Anna Nagar, Madurai for residential purposes on a monthly rent of Rs.10,000/- exclusive of the property tax and electricity charges. The respondent and the petitioner entered into a lease agreement, dated 11.07.2010 for a period of three years which was not registered under Section 17 of the Registration Act and Section 107 of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882. After the expiry of a three year lease period, the petitioner orally informed the respondent to vacate the subject premises and settled the arrears rent at once. Nevertheless, the respondent would not come forward to settle the arrears of rent and vacate the subject matter 2/5
premises till date. Therefore, the petitioner filed the above mentioned R.L.T.O.P.No.151 of 2021 before the I Additional District Munsif Court, Madurai, but the same was adjourned till date for evidence. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondent.
4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned I Additional District Munsif, Madurai, to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.
5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned I Additional District Munsif, Madurai to dispose of the case in R.L.T.O.P.No.151 of 2021 pending on his file, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of 3/5
this order on merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
