ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. J. Alexander, Advocate for the Petitioner and Mr. M. Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order: "The above petition has been filed to extend the time in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19741 of 2022 dated 14.11.2022 for surrender before the learned Special Judge for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, PCR Court, Srivilliputhur District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted 10 days extra time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to surrender before the learned Special Judge for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, PCR Court, Srivilliputhur District. On such surrender, the learned Special Judge is directed to consider the same as per law."
