The case was mentioned before this Court by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on the ground that the detenu has been secured by the respondent police and hence we permitted the case to be listed in the additional list.

2. The detenu is the minor daughter of the petitioner. She has been secured by the police and produced before this Court today. The petitioner is also present today.

3. On enquiry, the minor girl states that due to infatuation, she eloped with a boy, who was running a mechanic shop and now she wants to be with her parents and pursue her studies.

4. Recording the said statement, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
