ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Manager of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 31.05.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, his terminal benefits were paid partly on 31.08.2019 and the balance amount was paid on 21.02.2023. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 20.10.2023 seeking interest for the belated payment of the terminal benefits. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second and third respondents herein are directed to pay 6% interest for the belated payment of terminal 2/4

benefits to the writ petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
