3rd respondent to fix the correct interest amount and to grant grace period of six months to pay the entire interest of the compensation amount For Petitioner : Mr.R.Chandrasubramanian For Respondents : Mr.B.Saravanan, Addl. Government Pleader for R1 to R3.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.The petitioner had suffered an award in W.C.No.79 of 2011 on the file of Deputy Commissioner of Labour (Workmen Compensation), Tirunelveli. Questioning the same, he filed C.M.A.(MD)No.852 of 2018. It was also dismissed on 17.12.2018. The petitioner now has filed this writ petition for directing the third respondent to correctly fix the interest amount. He also wants grace period of six months.

3.The third respondent is obviously expected to correctly compute the interest payable by the petitioner herein. It is seen that the petitioner had also 2/4

deposited the principal amount. Otherwise, Civil Miscellaneous Appeal would not have been numbered. I am certain that the third respondent would give breathing time to the petitioner and will not straightaway bring the property to sale.

4.With these observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.01.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias To:
