ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner has applied for re-issuance of passport. It is true that he is facing prosecution in STC No.467 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri. However, the offence is rather minor. There is no other impediment in issuing passport to the petitioner. Hence, the first respondent is directed to re-issue the petitioner's passport subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities.

3.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
