The present Writ Petition has been filed by a retired Assistant Agricultural Officer seeking a Mandamus for implementing G.O.(Ms) No.97, Agriculture (AAV) Department, dated 20.02.1992, giving relaxation for the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Service.
2. According to the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the second respondent has sought for certain details from the writ petitioner by way of proceedings dated 18.11.2024 to process the request made by the writ petitioner on 17.10.2024. After furnishing of those documents, the second respondent will proceed with the representation given by the writ petitioner.

3. Considering the above said facts, the petitioner herein is directed to furnish all the documents as called for by the second respondent by his proceedings dated 18.11.2024. On submissions of those documents, the second respondent is directed to process the application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the records.
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
