PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue the joint patta in the name of the petitioner along with his brothers names for the lands having extent of 8272 in Survey No.153 at Melasirupothu Village, Muthukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.12.2022.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned land. He has given a representation dated 19.12.2022. The third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third 2/4

respondent will hear all the interested persons before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or the other. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
