ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for 'Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 18.11.2024 and the requisition submitted by the Judge, II Additional Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai, I Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai (I/C). in D.No.807 dated 17.07.2025 seeking further to grant four months time to dispose of the case in C.C.No.288 of 2018 this Court made the following Order:

'This petition has been listed today under the caption ''for extension of time'' to dispose of the case in C.C.No.288 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned I Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai.

2. The learned I Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai, has sent a letter in D.No.807/2025 dated 17.07.2025, requesting extension of further time to dispose of C.C.No.288 of 2018, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 18.11.2024.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned I Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Madurai, this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, four months time is extended for disposing the case in C.C.No.288 of 2018 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.'
