2. The writ petitioner challenged the notice issued by the HR&CE Department proposing to appoint fit person for "mandagapadi". The writ petition was allowed on 25.04.2024 by the learned single Judge. Aggrieved by the same, the temple has filed this writ appeal.

3. We are of the view that the temple cannot have the locus standi. It is the notice issued by the department which was quashed. The department has not filed any writ appeal. The appellant temple whose interest are not at all affected, cannot have any grievance. This writ appeal stands dismissed on the ground of locus standi. No costs.
