O R D E R This petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal Sessions Judge (Special court for SC/ST Cases), Karur, to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail application on the date of their surrender in connection with Crime No. 21 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police.

2.The petitioners are the accused persons in Crime No.21 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 376, 294(b) of IPC and Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(w)(i), 3(1)(w)(ii) and 3(2)(V) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 2015.

3.Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2. 4.The Counsel on either side would submit that the prayer sought for in this case has become infructuous, since the petitioner was arrested by the respondent police.

5.In view of the same, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
