ORDER

This criminal revision case has been filed against the modification of conviction of Sentence imposed in C.A.No.30/2015 by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge Nagercoil, dated 07.01.2020. 1/4

2.The matter has been settled between the parties out of the Court. Memo has also been filed by the respondent to that effect. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- has been awarded by the trial Court, which was confirmed by the appellate Court. Therefore, the above said settlement has been reached between the parties with regard to the above said compensation amount. He would further submit that no amount has been deposited by the petitioner to the credit of this number before any Court.

3.In view of the settlement arrived by the parties, 5% of the agreed amount was directed to be deposited to the credit of High Court Legal Services Authority, that was also complied by the petitioner. In view of the settlement between the parties, this revision petition is allowed. The judgment and conviction rendered by the Courts below against the petitioner are set aside. The revision petitioner is acquitted from all the charges C.C.No.26 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil.
