Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent has placed on record the revised seniority list published pursuant to the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. According to him, the second respondent has also published the revised seniority list. Hence, according to him, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and if the petitioner is aggrieved by the revised seniority list, the petitioner will have to challenge the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the seniority list cannot be published by the first respondent as the same will have to be published only by the department namely the second respondent.

3.Since it is the submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent that the second respondent has also published revised seniority list, the petitioner will have to challenge the revised seniority list, if so aggrieved, by a separate legal proceeding in the manner known to the petitioner under law. After recording the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent that the revised seniority list has already been published pursuant to the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the revised seniority list, if the petitioner is so aggrieved, in the manner known to the petitioner under law.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
