ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to conduct survey of his land. 2.Admittedly, there is a dispute with regard to the title and possession of the disputed property between the petitioner and the fifth respondent and a civil suit has also been filed. In such circumstances, there cannot be any direction to the respondent police to provide police protection for conducting a survey. Hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this criminal original petition.

3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the civil Court. However, if it is the case of the petitioner that the boundaries of the land in his possession are disputed by his neighbour, he may seek appropriate relief in the manner known to law.
