PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records in detention order No. 92/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 31.10.2023, on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu, namely, Praveen @ Mittai, son of Muniyandi, aged about 22 years, now confined in Central Prison, Madurai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the detention order No.92/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 31.10.2023, passed by the second respondent, has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide G.O.Rt.No.6986, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 13.12.2023 and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order dated 13.12.2023 before this Court.
