This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 569 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, SIPCOT Police station, Thoothukudi District. 2.Today(03.07.2024), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that the final report in Crime No.569 of 2020 has been filed and the same was taken on file in PRC No. 41 of 2024 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tuticorin.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
