ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1311 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police as against this petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A3 and he is ready to compromise with the second respondent/defacto complainant and also produce the compromise memo before the first respondent police. Hence, this Court may permit the petitioner and the defacto complainant to produce the compromise memo before the first respondent police and this Court may also issue a direction to the first respondent Police to close the case as "Action Dropped". 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that if such a compromise memo is filed by both parties, the case will be closed as "Action Dropped".

4.In view of the above, the first respondent Police is directed to close the FIR in Cr.No.1311 of 2020 as "Action Dropped" based on the compromise memo produced by both parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the compromise memo and appearance of the parties. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 28.03.2024 Sji 2/4
