ORDER

The petitioner seeks police protection to her and her family.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The grievance of the petitioner seems to be that already a decree of the civil Court is in her favour in O.S .No. 220 of 1999. In spite of the same, the compound wall was damaged by the private respondents, who are the defendants in the suit, and when the petitioner attempted to reconstruct the same, they are threatening the petitioner.

4. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner has since passed away, pending the petition.

5. In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted in the petition. However, if the legal heirs of the petitioner, in whose favour the decree stands, can approach the respondent police, the respondent police shall grant protection strictly in terms of the civil court decree
