ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the third respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on the representation made by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3 on 19.12.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the fourth respondent are brothers, that the petitioner's brother has executed a gift settlement deed in favour of the petitioner and the petitioner has been in possesson and enjoyment of the property and that the fourth respondent, disputing the gift settlement deed, has been threatening the petitioner and his family members. would further submit that the petitioner has sent a complaint to the first respondent and copy of the same was sent to the respondents 2 and 3 and the same are pending.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the complaint is now pending before the third respondent.

5. As rightly contended by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the petitioner has to approach the competent civil Court to sort the disputes in between him and his brother. However, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2022 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
