PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.149/2020 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police and Quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.149 of 2020 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.149 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 447, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the third petitioner is awaiting Government Job. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is case in counter cases. In both cases the investigation has been almost completed. Within a short time it will be filed before the concerned Court. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor there shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the final report before the concerned Court in both cases. So that the 2/4

petitioners can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved by the contents of the final report. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous with the above said directions. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
