The petitioner states that there is an empty Natham Poramboku on the western side of his house of an extent of three cents. Therefore, after submitting a representation dated 03.02.2025 seeking a joint patta in the names of C.Manoharan, C.Karuppasamy, C.Anna Durai and the petitioner, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. On the basis of written instructions, he submits that the petitioner is seeking a patta in respect of survey No.60, which is classified as Arasu Poramboku/Urachi Ondria Salai. Therefore, he submits that such representation cannot be considered.

3. In response, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is seeking patta for three cents in survey No.61/2A1A and not survey No.

60. Learned Government advocate submits that an inquiry would be 2/4

conducted to ascertain the same and orders would be passed on merits.

4. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request on merits within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and others who may be affected by such decision. No costs.
