This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.162 of 2012, on the file of the first respondent and quash the same and allow this Criminal Original Petition.

2. The petitioner herein is the accused in Crime No.162 of 2012, on the file of the first respondent. He filed this application for quashing the said F.I.R as illegal.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate( Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the case pertaining to Crime No. 162 of 2012, final report has been filed on 14.12.2016, in which, Investigation Officer closed the investigation as Further Action Dropped. Hence, the prayer sought for in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
