ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking direction to dispose of the proceedings in R.C.A.No.21 of 2021 on the file of the Sub Court cum Rent Control Appellate Authority, Devakottai, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 07.12.2023, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Rent Control Appeal is pending from 2021 for await trail Court records, directed the Registry to call for a report from the concerned Rent Control Appellate Authority and also the from the learned Rent Controller cum District Munsif, Karaikudi. In pursuance of the same, the learned District Munsif, has submitted a report, dated 18.12.2023, stating that the records in R.C.O.P.No.4 of 2015 have already been submitted to the Principal District Court, Sivagangai, vide letter dated 14.06.2021 for safe custody. The learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai, has submitted a report, dated 19.12.2023 stating that the records in R.C.O.P. No.4 of 2015 have been received only on 18.12.2023 from the Principal District Court, Sivagangai.

3. Considering the above and also taking note of the fact that the Rent Control Appeal is pending from 2021, the learned Rent Controller is hereby directed to dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
